The playability is surprising. I have previously tried carbon fibre bows with good technical qualities, but Leopold distinguishes itself also as a bow with good sound characteristics.
That the bow is at a price level where everybody can follow - is the biggest surprise.
I am very satisfied with the bow and I recommend it to my friends and students. In particular it is good for the interpretation of the classical music.
I have been using Leopold already for three quarters of a year. At first it only assisted my master pernambuco bow made by Mr. Oubrecht. It was used particularly for exercises, for which purpose I had bought it. Then I have discovered its unique virtues compared to wooden bows - and I begun to use it also as my primary bow.
Stable in tied spiccato, much more agreeable to many both technically and tonally demanding skills, with an outstanding representation of the colour of the tone and dynamical changeovers without undesirable sounds - these are clear advantages.
I did not hesitate when choosing the Leopold brand because in its own top category it is without competition thanks to its price and quality of production, in comparison to many other European brands, with which sticks I have been playing.
I will never regret its purchase, even if its cost doubled, because it allowed me to discover the power of the best of the alternative materials, moreover with a feeling, that by doing so, I am not supporting the felling of precious trees.

I have tried most of the composite bows on the market, and I have found the Leopold to be the most convincing bow in its price range. I simply cannot find any fault in this bow's sound or playability!
